Is Completions Manager compliant with Microsoft Vista?
Yes, Completions Manager Version 7 running with AutoCAD 2009 is compliant with Microsoft Vista.
What is the recommend PC specification for Completions Manager™?
Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 2.2 GHz or Intel or AMD Dual Core processor 1.6 GHz or greater, Windows XP Pro SP3 or Windows Vista. XP2 needs 1GB Ram, 750Gb disk space and 1024x768 VGA true colour. Vista needs 2GbRam, 2Gb disk space and 1280x1024 32bit true colour 128Mb graphics card.
Is Completions Manager compliant with Citrix?
Yes, Completions Manager Version 7 running with AutoCAD Map 3D is compliant Citrix.
What type of application is Completions Manager™?
Completions Manager™ is an AutoCAD application. The current version runs on AutoCAD 2009 and would normally be installed on the client PC along with AutoCAD itself (Petrofocus normally supply AutoCAD with Completions Manager™).
How is the Completions Manager™ data stored?
Completions Manager™ data is stored in AutoCAD DWG format. Data in this case means the drawings themselves, which would normally be saved to a shared network location.
Does Completions Manager™ require any external database such as Oracle, Sybase etc.?
Not for the standard implementation. There is an optional add-on that imports data from large corporate databases.
How does the Concurrent Network Licence Manager work?
It uses Autodesk's version of FLEXlm licence manager. This normally resides on a dedicated licence server and distributes the available licences to whoever needs it.
Do you need to reboot the server after installing the licence manager?
No.
Can we combine the AutoCAD FLEXlm licence with our existing FLEXlm licences for other software?
No, AutoCAD requires its own separate FLEXlm system. However, AutoCAD's system will run alongside other licence managers.
